How Do I Love My Husband?

Thanks to Umma and Enchie for this tag. I have waited for this special day before posting this tag. Today is our 8th wedding anniversary!

We met at Church of God-Makati way back in 1998. We were both involved with other partners then. After I broke up with my ex, we became closer because we belonged to the youth ministry and we spent lots of time together. Until March 15, 2000 we officially became a couple. I knew that God has destined us to be together. At the beginning, my parents didnt give us their blessings but we pursued, with prayers. They didnt want me marrying a non-Chinese. After a couple of months, my parents had a change of heart. We got married on February 18, 2001.

I love him for his sense of humor, wittiness, the way he can provoke you to think.

I love how we can talk about some anything under the sun.

I love it that he tries to stay up at night no matter how sleepy he is, just to spend some time with me.

I love how responsible he is. Whether at home, in the office or in his ministry.

I love how he plays with the kids and tries his best to spend time with them.

I love how we bond; we like to eat out, visit places (well he says that’s just me!), watch movies or series together, we both loves books.

I love it that he cooks great food!

I love it that he supports me in my decision to be a Stay At Home Mom.

I love him because he accepts and loves me as I am.

I love him because he is God’s gift to me.

Dear Love,
I love you.
Happy anniversary!
Looking forward to spending more years with you!
