Mommy Moments – This I Give To You (Pamana)

mommy moments

Its Friday once again… and our theme this week is “This I Give to You (Pamana)”. This may mean anything which was yours originally but you have now or will someday pass on to your kids. I wasn’t able to capture photos for this week’s theme since my hubby is hospitalized and I won’t be able to capture the photo in time for this week’s post..

When I was about 9 years old, I had a set of Choose Your Own Adventures books. We had these hardbound books :
Snow White and the Enchanted Kingdom
Cinderella
Dumbo

Now, I have passed it on to my daughter Kyla. She enjoys reading it!

I also have this high chair which I used when I was a baby, but when my kids were born and were old enough to use this high chair… I let them use it.

I think it is really cool to be able to pass on stuff to our kids and hopefully, they would be able to pass it on to their kids too. It doesnt have to be expensive stuff but because of time, it becomes heirloom and the sentimental value of the items we pass increases.

Do you have something you passed on to your kids? Share them with us!

  1. Your kids will surely treasure those legacies 🙂

  2. Hi Chris, first off, I hope your hubby gets well soon. The high chair from you to your kids sounds charming.

For some reason I can't find the Linky.

Here's my link though in case you get a chance at blogging some time:

Hi Chris, first ever Mommy Moments for me, and hopefully many more to come!

Sorry, I didn't know how to use/what to put on the linky and it turned out to be too long, LOL. Just wanted something simple like my name. Next time, I'll know…

    Anyway, best regards to everybody.

  5. Sentimental things is a treasure to pass on!

Get well soon to your husband,Mommy Chris.

  6. yes, it's the sentimental value that make those things precious. sad that i haven't passed on any of my stuff to rj. lahat nawala kalilipat namin ng house noon.

  7. by the way, I hope your husband is much better now. God bless your family always!

  8. Like what you said, we can pass anything on to our kids and it doesn't need to be expensive. Marami tayong maipapamana sa ating mga anak na hindi naman need na money wise di ba? traits, skills and talent can also be inherited from parents..
