On Her Way to Success

One of the reasons I became a stay at home mom was because I wanted to personally witness my child’s every milestone. From her first smile to the first step until she first went to school. It is truly fulfilling to know that I have done my best in providing care and nurture for my kids.
Now that my daughter is in 1st Grade, we have chosen the path of homeschooling. I believe this is the best for her. In terms of academic excellence, she has the full attention of her teacher so she gets the best instruction and in terms of character building, she gets to learn the important values our family wants to pass on to her. In terms of socialization, she has more time to socialize across all age groups and in terms of arts, she has time to pursue her God given talents.
I am truly amazed at how my daughter Kyla has grown in every aspect of her life. She has bloomed and I know that it is only by God’s grace that she excelled. By giving her my time in being her teacher, I know that I am helping her become the person that God has intended her to be! What a joy it is to be able to be a part and to witness my child succeed in her every day life!

  3. hi mommy chris. like what i always hear from the oldies, it is much better if we moms personally take care of our kids. it is all worth it. i too gave up my teaching career so that i can take care of my little boy and i am loving every minute of it, no regrets at all! much more fulfilled than i was teaching! but of course it wasn't easy but God was there all the way… congrats for being a great mom to your kids mommy chris.

congrats to you Mommy Chris! To see our kids achieve something even how little it is definitely makes us proud to be a mom.
I am kinda interested about homeschooling; how's that?

  5. It takes a lot of dedication and patience to be a homeschooling parent. Your daughter is blessed to have you as her teacher 🙂

  6. Great to read about this, i hope more and more parents would try homeschooling. I plan to be Ashton's teacher-mommy too 🙂

Yet as early as now, I already get lots of comments from outsiders on how kids should be sent to schools x.x
