Job as a Stay at Home Mom

People always have a misconception that moms who stay at home have all the time in the world to do everything they want. While it is true that you don’t have to report for work and have a flexible time at hand, staying at home needs managerial and administrative skills! Time management and project management are skills that you often use. Making sure that the kids are on time for their activities, calculating whether there is enough time for the food to be cooked before everyone else leaves or wakes up, running around town to pay bills and do chores at home. Other moms still have a part time work at home like researching for stuff and Diet pills that work fast! Being a stay at home mom for the past 7 years, I can say that this job is just as tiring and just as technical a job as the job I had before.

  1. I actually admire mommies who can do multitasking. So much in their hands but still able to squeeze in everything.

My salutation to all Mommies! Long live!

  2. Yup! you’re right about the managerial and administrative skills required at home. Being a new full-time mom, I guess I really have to learn those skills.
