This Is Your Kingdom Come Now Album Review and Giveaway

As a stay at home mom, it is a must that I take a few hours a day to do things for myself. After I do all the household chores in the morning then finishing our homeschool work for the day, I have a  few hours to do some online work, read books and listen to music. I love listening to music, specifically inspirational music – I find it therapeutic.

For the past week, I have been listening to an amazing worship album from  Vineyard Worship! I have been asked to write a review about their new album entitled This Is Your Kingdom Come Now. This is Your Kingdom Come Now was recorded LIVE at the Sugar Land Vineyard Church outside of Houston, TX and will be released on Tuesday, October 2! This dynamic new album features veteran worship leader and songwriter Casey Corum and a cast of friends recorded before a full house over two nights at Corum’s home church.

Album Bio:

This dynamic new album features veteran worship leader and songwriter Casey Corum and a cast of friends recorded before a full house over two nights at Corum’s home church. Listeners will also be introduced to the powerful voices of Torri Baker (Vineyard Church – Columbus, Ohio) and Crispin Schroeder (Northshore Vineyard – Covington, Louisiana), as well as a 17-voice gospel choir. Threads of R&B, gospel, and modern rock are woven together to create a fresh sound while, at the same time, being deeply rooted in the hallmark Vineyard worship value of intimacy with God.

My Review:
While listening to the album, I was reminded of my relationship with Jesus Christ. It was inspiring and humbling at the same time. I am not a musical person but I love songs which allow me to sing back to God and be intimate with Him. Definitely, this new album from Vineyard has done just that for me. The songs are a mixture of modern rock, soul and gospel. My favorites are How I Love Your Ways, Who is Like Our God and What Joy is Found.

We’ve been downloading some gospel songs lately as my eldest just joined the “Youth and Praise” in school. His fave now is “Who am I” while mine is “All we like sheep”. It’s nice to learn some new songs! Thanks!
