Dedication and Diligence

My daughter has been having ballet lessons for the past year. I was quite surprised that she enjoys it and likes to perform on stage as she used to have stage fright during class presentations a few years back. Truly, she has outgrown her fear of the stage. I have seen her dedication during practice and diligence to do the different routines even if it is quite hard. It is amazing to see that the character studies we have been doing at home is being lived out.

Dedication and diligence both can’t be learned just by reading about them, you have to practice them in real life.

Sassy Hairsies Review

I really believe my daughter is an artist and she definitely has an eye for beauty. Aside from that. she also loves wearing hair accessories!

When she was asked to choose which hair accessories from Sassy Hairsies she wanted to try, she picked all of these!

She wears the different accessories everyday. The accessories are not only nice to look at, they are durable too! Something that I really look for in hair accessories.  If you are looking for artsy hair accessories, better check out Sassy Hairsies for more of her wonderful designs. The headbands can come either in elastic form or those with plastic or metal ones wrapped in any fabric or ribbon designs.

Note: I have been provided free products from Sassy Hairsies for review. I wasn’t required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Teacher Kyla!

We have been homeschooling my daughter for the 2nd year now. Since last year, I have seen some remarkable improvements over her oral skills. She used to be very shy and wouldn’t want to talk or share her ideas but I have seen a change this year.

She can now speak and share her ideas “in front” of me and her brother during our class hours. In fact, in this photo above, she is sharing her report of what she has learned to us and she enjoys it. She also loves teaching her little brother about the different things she has learned like how to read and how to count. She also volunteers teaching drawing and crafts during homeschool meeting days with other homeschoolers!

She did say that she wants to be a teacher when she grows up… and I am glad to see that she is able to fulfil her dream now too! :D

My Little Ballerina

The past week has been a really hectic one for us because it was the first ever ballet recital of our little girl. She had technical dress rehearsal on Tuesday and the actual ballet recital on Wednesday night at CCP or Cultural Center of the Philippines. My daughter is enrolled in ballet classes under ACTS Manila. She has been dancing ballet for one year now.

United Colors of Dance was the title of their show and it featured all classes under ACTS Manila and also some of their dancers. They showcased dances from all over the world. My daughter’s class presented 2 numbers and she performed well in both.
Here are some of her official photos. These were taken for their souvenir program .

I am so happy that my daughter enjoyed performing! It is amazing that she danced in front of a full packed CCP!
