Lego Stop Motion Movies

My son loves Lego. He started to collect last year and he makes stop motion movies using his collection. I allow my son to do these videos as they take patience, time and creativity.

Hopefully, as the years go by, he will continue to be diligent and creative.

From Guitar to Ukulele

There are days that I want to enroll my son in a music school or train under a music teacher. But every time I ask him, he doesn’t want to.

Anyway, we went ahead and bought him his own guitar. It wasn’t an ibanez guitar but it was a small nylon guitar which fit him perfectly. That was 2 years ago. He hardly touched that guitar and since I don’t know how to play it, I wasn’t able to teach him much. We tried watching YouTube videos, but he just didn’t had enough interest to go on.

A few months back, we saw ukulele and asked him if he was interested to learn it. He was excited to play the ukulele. Good thing that the ukulele came with a CD and he has been learning to play chords for the past months now. Hopefully, his interest will continue on and that he will learn all the chords so he can play songs.

Every end of the month, I ask him to play a concert for us and so far, he has been enjoying it.

Toby at the Zobel Cup 2015

Last Saturday, my son as part of the Kaya Football Academy U-9 team, competed at the Zobel Cup or Brother Ceci Cup 2015. Their team was brilliant and won the 2nd place (silver medal)!

He mostly played back defense, but he played best when he was at the midfield.

It was a tiring but fun experience for all of us!

Kindersoccer Football Tournament

For the past 9 months, my son has been training with Kaya FC Academy in Cuenca, Alabang. A couple of Sundays ago, my son joined the Kaya invitational tournament for Kindersoccer which was held at the Emperador Stadium.

The games were played on a 3v3 format. They played against other Kaya Kindersoccer teams and also against Payatas Football club and Futbol Fanatics.

We are hopeful that he’d be able to join more tournaments in the near future and that he would continue nurturing his skill in football!

Thumbprint Animals

Art work done by my son. He just used the stamp pad to create his thumbprints and colored markers to complete this artwork.
