My son at around age 3 or 4 started to embrace these stuff toys before going to sleep. He always wants to make sure that they are together before he falls asleep or when he wakes up in the morning.

I have read that the kids attachment to stuffed animals can help them in their emotional development. I don’t plan on taking away these cuddly toys until he grows tired of them. How about you? Does your kids have their own favorite cuddly stuffed animals?

Toby is 5!

I can hardly believe it, but my little boy turned 5 last week! Since he is into football recently, he wanted to have a football party. His sister even made a personalized football t-shirt and a personalized poster for him!

The birthday party started out with games in the football field and when the kids were tired, they went to our house to continue on with the fun!

Toby enjoyed his birthday and that is what matters most! :)

Toby’s Poses

My son really never fails to brighten my day. Even if he can be a bit too much at times, his cheerful disposition and playfulness never fails to make me smile. Just look at some of his recent photos.

Here he is wearing necktie on a Sunday!

Here he is wearing jacket on a rainy day!

Here he is wearing a self made costume at home!

Here he is showing off a Lego toy!

He can be very adventurous at times so I won’t wonder if I see him wearing snowboarding goggles someday!

“Good”

My son has formally started school this school year. He is now in Kindergarden. I am glad that he is enjoying learning and even if he sometimes doesn’t like to do or finish the activities, still, he gets into the habit of finishing what he started. One of the reasons why we chose to homeschool him is because we really want to instill the value of love for learning and character development.

Just the other day, because he was very diligent in doing his work, I gave him a “star” for his good character! I sometimes give stamps as a reward to let him realize that working hard would sometimes give you benefits in the end. It has been a challenge but I am glad that we are moving in the right direction.
