Gaining Weight After Being Hospitalized

After my confinement in the hospital last month, a lot of people have been telling me that I have gained weight! They say that I didn’t look like I got sick at all. Well, I guess I would attribute that to the fact that I have been eating more and doing less house chores. I employed a stay out helper for 1 month to help me wash the clothes and clean the house so it means less moving around for me. I wanted to fully recover from dengue and spend my time caring for the kids and focusing on our homeschooling than doing the chores.

But since last week, our stay out helper has been sick too so I am back to doing the chores at home. Of course, that shouldn’t mean that I don’t need to exercise anymore, right? So I am looking for fat burn exercises. Maybe while the kids are playing in the late afternoon, I can do some fitness programs!

Most of us moms love to read quick weight loss tips. We are so busy and schedules are too tight to go to the gym. Well, I certainly believe that even if we stay at home, we can easily lose weight too. For example, when you need to go to the grocery or store, instead of riding public transport, maybe you can choose to walk instead. When you are doing household chores, it will definitely help you to perspire a lot! When your kids want to play some sports, join them instead of watching TV during your free time.

Tips on Weight Loss

When I was still working in Makati, we used to go to the gym at least 2 times a week, but it has been 8 years since I last went there! In fact, I didn’t lose much weigh then. Of course we all know that after giving birth, you gain some weight. I wanted to lose weight fast but wondered how I was going to do it.

Lo and behold, i found a way to lose unwanted weight by not eating so much white rice during meal time. In a month, I think I have lost some weight already! I also don’t drink carbonated drinks since I got pregnant in 2003. And the best way, is to exercise! Walking, doing household chores and keeping up with the kids keep me fit!

Burn Those Calories

With the latest post I made for Girl’s Talk, I realized that my size hasn’t really gone back to my pre-pregnancy size or at least close to it! My arms are my biggest gainers. And of course, my waist line has grown so much! There are days that I want to go to the gym to try those elliptical and see if it will help me burn more calories. But with the financial and time constraints, household chores will do. With the really hot weather and household chores all lined up, that would really help me to lose some more pounds!
