The other night, Toby suddenly had a nosebleed. It was quite a lot too. We were so surprised. What we did was to slightly tilt his head and wipe the blood off. We got an icepack and put it on his head. It was a scary sight but as I did a research, nosebleeds are common in children.

Here are some tips I got from this site. If your kid has a nosebleed:
– Make the kid sit down and slightly tilt head up.
– Make sure that the kid will not lie down because blood might run down the throat.
– Pinch the lower soft part of the nose. The pressure on the nose should be steady at least for 10 minutes.
