My Skin Care

Ever since I was a teenager, I always had dry skin. I remember having skin rashes whenever it was too cold or too hot. I was diagnosed to have skin asthma then. Ever since, I always used unscented lotion and soap to make sure that my skin won’t be irritated. I also check the face creams I use to make sure that it is safe for sensitive skin. It has not been easy all these time, but I have learned to proactively care for my skin especially during cold weather.

My Skin Care Experience

When I was younger, I used to have skin asthma attacks. Every time the season changes, my skin would react. I would have different sorts of rashes coming out of my skin. It can be dry and itchy and sometimes, it can become red and scaly too. My parents have brought me to the dermatologist already and I am glad that I got well.

It is hard to find solution to such skin problems that is why when someone shares their eczema treatments, I usually check it out so that when I have skin problems again, I know which medicine to try out. These medicines are quite expensive too.

Anyway, my usual protection is to put some unscented lotion and to pray that I won’t have skin allergies or skin asthma attacks.

Skin Care Anyone?

Mommy Ria has a question, how do you take care of your skin? I have sensitive skin so I easily get rashes and I was diagnosed to have skin asthma when I was in high school. I have always been using Dove unscented soap and using unscented lotion every after bath ever since. It has helped me to care for my skin and avoid rashes.
Now that summer is here, I have to watch out for those redness that comes from sweat and extreme heat. I try to take a bath 2x or even 3x a day to keep my body cool. I also drink lots of water to hydrate myself and my skin.
