The Last Tree Book Review

It has been quite some time since I was able to read and browse through new Hiyas Books, but as I heard about their new releases, I got excited to read about them! The Last Tree is one of the latest releases from OMF Literature under Hiyas.

Using poetry, Gutch Gutierrez made the story of The Last Tree really interesting to read and be read aloud. Our family has been reading and memoizing poems for the past school year so we are fond of reading poetry together.

The Last Tree is the story of a girl who went on a journey with her father. Together, they sought for a tree in the hopes of changing the gloomy future they current face.

The book is ideal for ages 8 and up but parents can read this aloud to their younger children. It is a good companion book to tree planting activities and learning about persevering and nurturing our natural resources.
