Story Time!

My kids love to read books. Whether it is traditional books or e-books. That is why when I received an email about a free online Children’s interactive books site, I immediately checked it out. Story Time For Me is a site which showcases certain animal characters and their daily stories in life. The stories are socially relevant. Some focuses on being earth friendly, friendship and good values. I also like it that we don’t need to register or sign in to read the stories. The books are suited for 1-8 years old children. That is why most of the time, the kids are the one behind the laptop so I don’t have much time to read on melatonin and its effects.

Usual Sites I Visit

What are some sites that you frequently visit? Aside from Facebook, Twitter and your own blogsites, what are your recommended sites to visit? Does your list include health related sites like www.thermogenesis.org? Or pinoy showbiz related sites like www.pep.ph ?

I usually visit homeschooling mom sites. They eat up most of my online time because I am always looking for possible activities that I can do with my kids, especially my son. I want him to be interested to learn so I try to look for creative ideas that would spark his interest.
I also visit other pinoy mommy bloggers site. I learn from other mommies and would like to share my inputs on some of their questions too.
How about you? I would love to hear about the sites you usually go to!

The Lopez Link

ABS-CBN is really one of the most famous companies here in the Philippines. Because of its various TV programs, the company is well known throughout the country. Most of us know that it is being run by Lopez Group. Have you ever wondered about the Lopez Group behind the ABS-CBN success?

Information technology has allowed us to take a peek the Lopez Group. The Lopez Link is an interactive website about the Lopez Group and all its companies. The LopezLink 2009 Year End Report gives us a fresh perspective about the company’s activities and advocacies throughout the year.

For a mom like me, I am quite interested in their advocacies for Education and those relating to the environment. I registered to the forum and started a new topic asking about the different organizations one can join in as part of an exposure to kids about the environment, climate and social aspects of our country. It is important that as my kids grow up, they will care for the world they live in!

I have seen the Knowledge Channel and I believe that it has genuinely helped many school children to learn more about different topics! I am also glad to know that the Knowledge Channel and Department of Education renew basic education tools development partnership. It would definitely be a big help especially to our public schools!
