Mommy Moments – Parenting Tips

mommy moments

September is coming to an end and this week is our last week focusing on tips we can share with one another. Today, we are sharing parenting tips! I am not an expert in this field, but I really would like to learn more about it so that I can do my best as a parent.

I often read books about parenting and there are several books which I really liked and would recommend to you.
> Shepherding A Child’s Heart by Ted Tripp – teaches that parenting is not about behavior modification but a matter changing the heart. Β It also tells us that we are partners with God in this journey. Parenting is not juts hard work, it is also heart work.

> How to Win Your Child’s Heart by Ruth Chang – teaches the different parenting styles and how to build relationships with our kids

> Regret Free Parenting by Catherine Hickem – teaches why inentional parenting is important and how it can be done.

Parenting is truly hard work especially in recent times where information and influence comes even into our homes through the internet. Let us make the most of every time and opportunity that God has given us. God has chosen you to be the best mom for your child. Let us not take this role for granted.
