Sports for the Kids

When I was a child, I wasn’t exposed to sports activities. I didn’t learn how to ride a bike. I didn’t get to take swimming lessons. I also wasn’t able to learn basketball or volleyball. I wasn’t able to join the track and field team too. I wasn’t given the opportunity to learn them early and didn’t feel like pursuing them as a teenager. If you would have given me riding boots, I probably would have given them away because I just didn’t have the drive to learn about sports.

Now that I am older, I do regret not learning any sports activity when I was younger. This is the reason why I like exposing my kids to the different sports activities out there. We have watched basketball games and football games. My daughter has taken swimming lessons. Now, they are quite interested to play table tennis. My son is also interested to learn to play football. I just hope and pray that we would be able to support them financially in this area in the coming months. It would be amazing to have them enroll in the different sport activities and see them flourish in their individual sports.

  1. Pareho tayo mommy! Hindi rin ako marunong magbike, magswimming. Ang alam ko lng na laro, patintero, agawan base, mataya-taya.

I also want my daughter to engage in different sports to develop her muscles and confidence. I also hope that God will allow us financially to expose her to different sports 🙂
