Mommy Moments – My Personal Goals for 2012

mommy moments

Happy new year to everyone! With the start of a new year, I am sure many of you have made your resolutions and your goals already. I definitely agree with goal setting because this will definitely make life more purposeful. I would like to share with you some of my personal goals for the year 2012:

> Beautify and de-clutter the house! Make sure we are not storing anything that we don’t need or haven’t used for the past year. It also means re-arranging the furnitures, decorating the place a bit, replacing old stuff. We’ve been living here for almost 7 years now and I have not done any decorating or home improvement stuff, hopefully, this year, we would be able to do just that.

> Spend time daily in prayer and in Bible reading. I was able to read through the Bible last year and it was great! This year, I hope to be able to do that again but using a different format.

> Read at least one book a month for personal growth. Books could include the following genres : devotionals, fiction, non-fiction, parenting and womanhood.

> Travel locally with the family!

> Reorganize The Mommy Journey! Watch out for the re-launching of this blog!

What are your goals for the new year? Share them with us at Mommy Moments!

  1. Redecorating is super fun Marce! 🙂 De-cluttering is…tough. Haha. For me it is, as I find my clutter all over the place. Tsk tsk. It’s great to be back, btw.

    Happy Mommy Moments 2012! 🙂

  2. I’d love to declutter our house, too, but I’m too busy with work. Sigh!

I have a question, Mommy Chris! Wala na tayong theme for Mommy Moments, right? I got confused. Last week, many moms wrote what they are thankful for in 2011, and I wrote about our Christmas family reunion. A few days ago, I wrote a post on my goals for 2012, but it’s not my entry to this week’s MM. Please advise me if what I’m doing is wrong. Thanks, Mommy Chris!

  3. You inspired me Mommy Chris, I haven’t read the Bible for a long time now. I used to do that when I was in college.

  4. Happy New Year, Chris. I love your list! Pakopya, hehe. Looks like you have an exciting start of the year.
God bless your plans for this year.

    Sending you love and blessings,
    Ruth
