Thankful Hearts

Very recently, we were blessed by my sister to have stayed at Oakwood Premier in Ortigas. We were very impressed with the interiors of the room that we stayed in. It was very spacious and the furnishings were really nice. It felt like the place was really a home. The cabinets were well built. The sofa was so soft and the bed was so relaxing. My kids were so excited to try out their bathtub and use the TV at the same time. I guess it is something that they don’t get to do everyday!

There were no hot tub covers so they just plunged in! I think they stayed over an hour in that hot tub that day!  They truly had a great time!  Even I enjoyed our brief stay there.

In moments like these, it is easy to take the blessings of God for granted. I am grateful that the Bible reminds us constantly to be thankful to God for all that He is and for all that He has done for us. Together with my kids, I make sure that before each day ends, as we pray together, we will thank the Lord for at least one thing. And true enough, there has never been a day that we ran out of things to say!

Developing a thankful heart starts by being thankful and contented with life’s simple blessings. Do you have any other tips on how to develop thankful hearts?

  1. My kids always love those tubs in hotels! And esp. bath rooms with TV! 😉

  2. wow ang swerte nyo, sis! nice bathroom ha. may TV pa. 🙂
