Being a non smoker, I don’t have any first hand experience in smoking. I check out sites like http://www.famous-smoke.com for information which I can share with my kids about smoking and its adverse effect to our body.
That just how it is with us homeschoolers. If we don’t know the answer to a question, we need to become resourceful and research to get the answer. Thus it cultivates a love for learning and perseverance in every student. Not knowing is no excuse at all. God has given us resources which we can use to investigate and find the answers to questions we face.
For the past 2 years, we have been using the traditional text and work book based curriculum but as we start our 3rd school year as homeschoolers, we plan to use another method of studying – we will try a bit of charlotte mason/classical/literature-based homeschooling on some of our subjects. We hope to use more narrating, copy work and writing. I truly hope that my kids and I would enjoy our homeschool journey this school year. I can see that it will a whole new adventure for us.
