Philippine Homeschool Conference 2012

Last May 19, I attended the Philippine Homeschool Conference 2012. Though I was only able to attend the morning sessions, I was blessed to see all those people who attended the conference. It is always encouraging to see that you are not alone in the homeschooling journey. I was also glad to have met some of the homeschool moms who I only know by name! It was actually thrilling to meet them. Sadly,I wasn’t able to get a photo of them.

There were many booths and I was glad to see many schools participate too. At least, homeschooling families are able to choose which homeschool provider they want to enroll in. There were a few who sold curriculum materials. I was actually hoping to see more.

Of course, Bo Sanchez and Debra Bell were both inspiring in their respective talks during the morning sessions. I hope that the succeeding homeschool conference would include more sessions about homeschooling methods and curriculum choices. I know that we can search for them online like looking for this link online http://www.shoppharmacycounter.com/t-phentermine.aspx, but hearing someone discuss the methods and curriculum choices would be beneficial not just for the first time homeschoolers but for those who are homeschooling for a number of years already.

  1. I’m hoping to homeschool again. If not my children, maybe I could do it for other kids – the less fortunate, just like one mom I watched on TV some time ago. It’s something that’s been on my mind. Wish I had known about the Philippine Homeschooling Conference and attended.
