Ballerina

When I was young, I don’t remember ever wanting to be a ballerina. I don’t have any memory of being one too. But for my daughter, it is a different story. I remember enrolling her in a ballet class when she was 6 years old. We were looking for a physical education class for her and ballet became the best possible option for her. Though she is not very much interested in other dances or even in other exercises like yoga. We don’t need to visit the yoga supplies wholesale sale at all.

Anyway, she choreographed another dance to the tune of “Silent Night Holy Night” last Christmas for the Christmas musical presentation of the Kids dot com Kids community of our church, GCF Santa Rosa.

While I was watching, I can’t help but be amazed at how far she has come along with ballet. She is now more confident whenever she dances and she doesn’t want to stop from dancing!

  1. Hi Chris! Been a long time I haven’t visited you here….( or any blogs for that matter, yikes!:( anlaki Na ni Kyla. I bet you’re a very proud mom seeing her accomplishments at a young age.

    Congratulations to you and Kyla!

  2. she really has come a long way since your first post of her ballet activity. very talented indeed 🙂

  3. I think, seeing your child dance on stage is a very wonderful feeling! I’m too far from having this kind of feeling! 🙂 I hope that I’ll not be the kind of mom that will push my little one to do what I haven’t done in my childhood, or else we will be both in tears especially that mine is a boy! Haha!

I really love looking at ballerinas and picture myself of being one! They move gracefully even when they’re just walking and they always maintain a good posture!

  4. I also once dreamed of becoming a ballerina after watching Swan Lake. But it did not come true. But I will not impose this dream to my daughter. I will support, whatever her interests are. Your daughter looks lovely.

  5. wow, kyla’s so good na. i know you’re one proud momma, mommy chris. ballet takes a lot of dedication and discipline and i admire her for that. have a great weekend!
