A+ Interactive Math Review

My 3rd grade daughter isn’t very good with Math  so when we were asked by the TOS Homeschool Crew to review the product of A+ Tutorsoft Inc. called A+ Interactive MATH , we wanted to try and see if it will help her. We were given the opportunity to try the online homeschool edition.

A+ Interactive Math is a complete Math curriculum which includes lesson plans, lessons, worksheets, exams and answers to the exam questions and it even has an automated grading system. It utilizes the 3 learning styles efficiently. It shows a video (visual) where the student can read (text) then there is a teacher who explains (audio) the lessons and interactive questions follows to ensure learning. It is a step by step learning program where the student can get immediate feedback about how they did in the exams.

For the parent, this is an ideal online program where there is minimal parental supervision required.  Everything is already prepared for you. As you login as the parent, you can create a student account for your child and you can see the automated progress tracking report. If you are not satisfied with their worksheets, you can generate your own worksheet using the template they have stored. There is also a recommended lesson plan so you can see the overview of the lessons being covered and how far the student has come.

Since we were using the online version, the only thing we needed was to have a browser and make sure that pop-ups are not blocked by the web browser. Once logged in, it was fairly easy to use as everything was very straight forward. My daughter used the A+ Interactive Math once a day for a couple of weeks and learned key concepts and was able to practice them at once through the interactive Q&A. There are visuals presented per lesson making it more fun for the student.

Though this is a great product, my daughter didn’t like the program very much. It does not fit her style as she likes to interact with the teacher. She wanted to ask questions but can’t and she finds it too slow. She is a very visual person so I think the program just didn’t fit her learning style.

You can choose the grade level you need from 1st grade until 7th grade and Algebra 1. The A+ Interactive Math online homeschool edition for 1 parent and 1 student costs only $19.95 monthly or only $49.99 quarterly or only $124.99 for a full year! And as a special offer to all readers of this blog, they are offering 50% OFF Special Promotion through the end of MARCH! The coupon code you can use when you purchase is: SPOFFER50

  1. Hi! Visiting from the TOS Crew. Great review!

  2. We’re currently using the online edition of Pre-Algebra right now (they have a one-month free trial) and one thing I really like is the way concepts are broken down into bite-size bits for incremental learning. You can also print the worksheets. Sadly, the exercises are so basic, so simple when compared to Singapore Math that I felt it would be great as a supplement but not as a core curriculum. HTH your readers.
