Advantages of Homeschooling By a Homeshool Student

I asked my daughter to write a short post about the advantages of homeschooling. Here is what she wrote:

1.One of the advantages of homeschooling is that it sticks the family closer. The teacher is a parent, and the student is the child. Field trips usually include the whole family,a mother, a father, and  a child. That way, the family is closer.

2. As a homeschooler, I have enough time to play with my brother, Toby. I also have time to do my chores for my pet, Charlie. We start around 8:00 to 8:30, have lunch break around10:30 to 11:00. And we start again around 12:30 to 1:00 and end around 2:00 to 3:00.

3.Another advantage is that when you are homeshooling, the teacher can talk directly to the child. Unlike in most schools, the teacher can answer the student without another student raising his hand.

4.There is also no bullying. The student grows up not with bullies from school, but with the guidance of his or her parents.

5. When you are  homeschooler, you have more time to practice your talent (like swimming, ballet, soccer, art, basketball or others). I am now attending ballet classes. And you also have time to play because there is not much homework.

  1. Good job, Kyla! Angel can’t wait to meet Charlie.

  2. My son…who is autistic was homeschooled at some point too. 😀

  3. Those were great advantages for home schoolers. Our nephew is also being home schooled and he enjoys it. I can’t home school my kids, they love to go to school and see other children. You have a very smart child there. Good job Kyla!

  4. It’s great to read from the homeschool student the advantages of being homeschooled…She loves it! I can’t homeschool my son because I’m working. But I’m glad that he’s in my school so during the day I could see himand spent our vacant time together:)

  5. Hello there Kyla! You will put private school out of business! hahaha

Marce Chris, ang galing na niya mag sulat.. blogger in the making na!
