A Decade Old

10 years! I’ve been a mom for a decade already! My daughter celebrated her 10th birthday last week and I felt a mix of emotions. Nostalgic, joyful, hopeful and a bit worried. Is that even possible? But that is how I feel as I look back at the past 10 years.

My little girl is no longer so little. She is almost as tall as me, and can now do almost everything on her own. She has grown to be a responsible lady and one who sees beauty in God’s creations. A budding artist and a lover of books. She says she wants  to be a ballerina, pet shop and pet services owner, farmer and an artist someday.

I pray that may you continue to grow in stature, in wisdom and in favor of God and men. Do not let the Word of God fall to the ground but faithfully love the Lord with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind.  Reach for the dreams that God has planted in your heart. I am so honored to be your mother. I love you my daughter.

  1. Happy birthday again, Kyla. My, you’ve grown right before our eyes. I wish you good health and success in everything that you do. Continue making your mommy and daddy proud!

Mommy Chris, the Bamboo Organ Festival is in Las Pinas, the Bamboo Organ Church. It’s one ride away from Alabang, but it’s a long ride because of traffic. You have to take the inner road once in Zapote going to Baclaran instead of Coastal Road. I just don’t know which events are invitational only or open to public.
