Our Expo Mom 2014 Experience

Together with my kids, we went to Glorietta last May 17 to check out Mommy Mundo’s Expo Mom 2014! We have been going to the bazaar yearly because we always find unique items. This year was no exception.

The entrance fee was on a donation basis as a support to the Kinder Project. No amount was too small as funds collected will go to materials that public school teachers in Payatas will use.

We went around and saw familiar mompreneurs and some of our favorite products. We saw Piggy Paints from Mama Baby Love and the bags from Manila Baby Shop!

Ant’s Pocket and Paperchic Studio were some of our favorite stops too. We love doing crafts together as a family so these booths were on our list!

My daughter’s favorite booth this year was The Princess and the Pea because of their girly dresses and chandelier display that goes with the beautiful dresses. She was a bit sad that the dresses were too small for her already. My son loved Sand Puff! They were giving a great deal but sadly after going around, we went back to purchase it, the booth was already closing.

One of the shops that we kept going back to was Great Discoveries for Kids. They were selling the giant world map jigsaw puzzle and many Clementoni board games. We got the Let’s Go Shopping board game as a supplement to our Math studies.

One of the high lights of my day was meeting mompreneur Paola Loot of Mommy Treats! I have bought her lactation goodies for a friend of mine when she gave birth last year from Mommy Treats. It was great to finally meet her face to face and she was kind enough to give me cookies too! I finally tasted it and it was really good – even for non-pregnant or non-lactating moms!

It was a wonderful day to just unwind and be with moms that day! The whole bazaar had this festive mood. It was a well spent day off for super busy mom like me.
