Colorful Weekends – Door

When I visited Club Balai Isabel last week, this is the door of our room leading to the veranda. Nice isn’t it?!

So glad to be able to participate again today after quite some hiatus. My laptop is not working properly, thus less time in front of the computer.

Colorful Weekend – Clay

These are the creations made by my kids using clay. I think they created animals out of the clay 🙂

Colorful Weekend – Garden

While we were strolling along The Piazza in McKinley Hill in Taguig a few weeks ago, we loved the colorful garden we saw!

I really hope that more parks in the different cities would be maintained well so that young children and adults alike will enjoy visiting gardens and parks.

Colorful Weekend – Lego

Last weekend, we went to SM Mall of Asia. We didn’t know that there was a Lego exhibit so when we got there, we were very excited with what we saw.

It was a huge Philippine map made of Lego pieces. In each place in the map were the famous places in each region. It suddenly became a Social Studies class field trip! 😀

As we roamed around, we saw there were Lego pieces on 2 tables were the kids are free to explore and play with them!

And this is the finished product of my daughter after 2 hours!

She submitted her work to the on-going contest of Lego, My Own Creations  🙂  Hope she wins!

Colorful Weekend – Elmo and Friends

Before you click here, check out my daughter’s latest creations!

My son rediscovered his Elmo videos and started watching them this week. After watching, my daughter thought of doing these toys for her brother. She gathered old Sticko cans and put on typewriting paper on them. Then she drew and cut out art papers to the shape of the famous Sesame Street characters.

I really admire my daughter’s creativity and resourcefulness! Hope you like her latest art work!
