A Glass of the Sea Exhibit

Recently, we saw A Glass of the Sea exhibit by The Mind Museum in Ayala Malls Solenad Nuvali. It is based on an expedition of the California Academy of Sciences (CAS) in an effort to discover new marine life in the Verde Island Passage (VIP).

It is an interactive exhibit, where there are informative videos, educational games and hands on learning at certain times.

I liked this game Sustainable Seafood Market game because I learned which seafood I should choose to buy in the market to protect Marine life.

I also liked this shadow exhibit — it speaks so much of our trash has been doing to our ocean.

This exhibit began February 1 and will last for 2 weeks. So if you are in the Nuvali area, don’t forget to drop by and let the children experience this exhibit!

Animal Encounters for Kids

If your kids like to visit places with animals, but you don’t want to bring them to a zoo, you can try visiting Venice Piazza at Mckinley Hill. Every 5pm, your children can feed the countless pigeons around the area.

If they like to feed fish instead, they can visit Nuvali in Santa Rosa Laguna. There are hundred of kois waiting to be fed!

Our kids loved visiting these places and enjoys the animal interaction too. Do you know of any other place that would be good for kids to visit?

Nuvali Outdoors

If you are looking for a great place to unwind and you want to come to the South, don’t forget to pass by Nuvali in Santa Rosa Laguna. It can easily be found since it is located at the Tagaytay Santa Rosa National Hi-Way. There is a big area to enjoy the outdoors. Walking, biking, boating, dining and feeding the fish are just some of the activities you can enjoy.

One of the favorites of my kids is the fish feeding. There are countless koi fish waiting to be fed!

It would probably be best to go early in the morning or late in the afternoon because the summer heat could be too much to bear.

If you have never been to Nuvali, schedule a trip soon with the entire family for some outdoor fun!

Family Fun At Nuvali

After the storm Santi hit us here in Laguna 2 nights ago and left us with devastation, today we decided to go to Nuvali to have some family bonding time.

the kids loved feeding the fish… and they also enjoyed riding the motorboat around the lake… i wasnt able to capture any nice photos there since it was already dark when we rode the boat.

We saw the sunset

And the full moon was out too…

It was a great way to unwind after the storm.
