Greetings mommies! This week's mommy moments is about BONDING TIME. You can share with us your favorite bonding moments with your kids. Here is my entry!
Toby calls me just before bedtime so I can read him books. For the past weeks, his favorite book is a look and find book of Finding Nemo. I certainly love cuddling him while reading books to him. I also read books for Kyla. I just can't find any recent pics of us reading a book together.
Another favorite is our afternoon walk around our subdivision. Every day, at around 430pm, we go out of the house and the three of us walk. Sometimes, we go to the store, or the playground, or just walk around. Sometimes, they bring their bike or scooter. I get to talk to both of them while walking and it is an exercise for me too :) Most of all, I like it because they enjoy it so much!

Hi Chris! I enjoy relaxing strolls too. Since we're living in a condo, mabilisan ang lakad sa labas kasi puro sasakyan. We enjoy this kind of walks everytime we visit my hometown. Enjoy din bumili sa sari-sari store :D

those are great bonding moments indeed. Erin loves taking a stroll but we aonly do it in the malls. With the weather so unpredictable here and sometimes quite extreme in temps, its hard to go around our neighborhood.

I love reading books for Evan too Chris. He asks many questions when I do that, so it's a challenge for my creativity in answering them.

fave ko rin mag lakad jan sa bel air. We use to do that too.. nung jna ba pke nakatira.. enjoy din si Jea. At that time she was just learning to talk so simple things like "wow wog!" means "wow dog!" is special for me.

i like walking with my kids too! Esp when they were younger and we used to live in a subdivision where there are so many trees and plants along the way. It relaxes them, pero I'm dead tired on the way home because I had to carry them because they're already tired of walking, hahaha!

Your picture with your son reminded me of the time when I read to my daughter too. I like that activity very much. It's good to start early reading books to our kids. It will become a habit.

Joaqui and I also love to read, and walk in the subdivision every morning. Sometimes it seems that these are very simple activities to do with our children, but these are great ways to spend quality time with them. Great idea with the mommy moments ; )
By the way, i'm a home-based medical transcriptionist ; )
