Monday Movie Meme – Work

The movie theme for this week is centered on work. Here are the few movies I can think of, hope it fits the theme 🙂 The Pursuit of Happyness – I loved the touching story of a father pursuing his goal of becoming a stockbroker for his son.Up Close and Personal – I loved this movie… the chemistry of the lead stars. It is the story of an ambitious young woman who wants to have a career in TV journalism.Click – Workaholic man who finds a remote control which can control certain parts of his life. Funny movie but it certainly has some interesting points we can learn from.Mr. Holland’s Opus – I remember watching this movie and telling myself that when I am older, I want to have an impact on the lives of others. This is a touching movie of a man who wanted to be a composer but found his place as a high school music teacher. For more movies, check out The Bumbles Blog.

I haven’t seen it myself, but I think Mr. Holland’s Opus fits the theme perfectly! I’m not sure why I haven’t seen it yet – I love teaching and music – and Richard Dreyfus!
